This will be a twelve week study of the religion and world view of Islam. Using videos and lectures we will consider: the basic tenets of this religion; the life of Mohammad; the socio-political aspects of Islam; apologetic arguments of Islam; the roots of Islamism, etc. All along we will contrast Islam with the Bible. Each presentation will be followed by discussion and Q & A. On Wednesday at 6:30pm and Sundays at 6:15pm. Taught by Pastor Doug.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS (9:15 am)
This is an 8-week interactive class on the family. We will look at many of the issues that families face… role of husband and wife, communications, child raising, finances, etc., from a biblical perspective. After an examination of biblical data, we will get into sharing groups made up of young and older families where the collective wisdom from experience can be shared. This is for everyone: widows, singles, empty nesters, childless couples… all have something to learn and to share that will help others to honor God in their families.
